Dr. Chau Chu is a Policy Fellow based at the Department of Economics, University of Leeds. She has been working closely with PIs and other relevant stakeholders of the Y-PERN initiative to provide data and quantitative analysis for place-based evidence-informed policymaking. Examples of her work include "Forecasting and nowcasting in West Yorkshire" and "Future of towns and cities post Covid-19".
Dr. Chau Chu obtained her PhD degree in Economics from the University of Leeds in 2021. She then joined the Department of Economics as a Research Fellow to work for PERN for a year before her current role as a Policy Fellow of the Y-PERN initiative.
